Let's try this blogging again....

Well are we crazy, we are in the mist of another IVF cycle. This time a frozen transfer. Actually, the day is soon nearing. Today I had blood work and an ultrasound and it looks like we may be on track for an embryo transfer for the end of next week. I think I am ready for this roller coaster ride.
As for my half marathon training, my next half will be the Raleigh Rocks coming up March 27th. I am following Hal Higdon's intermediate plan. Today is my rest day, with a weekend to come of work and fitting in my 10 mile run. I hope the snow is not too bad as I would like to avoid 10 miles on the dreaded treadmill.
More to come on my great adventures of maintaining a healthy lifestyle while undergoing infertility.

Day one of Blogging

So today I am officially 6 weeks pregnant according to the date of my egg retrieval. I am now awaiting a second US on this coming Tuesday to see if this little pea is growning.
The first US appointment was this past Tuesday and didn't go as good as I would have liked it to go. We did see a sac on the US and in that sac was a yolk sac, but nothing else. I was only 5 weeks and 5 days that day. My RE Dr. C. for some reason kept saying at 6 and half weeks we should of seen more. I know my dates. I did go for blood work that day and by beta was 28,000 and my Progest. was 53. So I just wait and pray that the pea will grow and grow.
It is like I can not feel excited about being pregnant, because I have to stress about US and betas this infertility sucks!!
On a pregnant note, I have total queasiness(is that a word) I have a constant stomach ache. Nothing sounds good to me, but if I eat then I feel better, so today I have found a liking for twinkies, like I need those one bit.
